Dedicated Hunter is built around hunting participation; Dedicated Sport Person recognises sustained sport-shooting activity. Members may qualify for either or both.

Important information
The annual reporting deadlines published on the current site conflict. One approved deadline for each status must be confirmed before launch.

Complete the learning
Each pathway includes learning material and a theoretical assessment. The audited fee is R570 per certification; practical assessor fees may be separate.

Demonstrate competence
Complete the relevant practical assessment with an approved assessor. Recognition of prior learning may apply where equivalent evidence is accepted.

Stay active
Dedicated Hunter currently requires two qualifying activities each year, while Dedicated Sport Person requires three. Log evidence through the approved member process.

Report annually
Submit activities by the association’s confirmed deadline and retain supporting evidence. Members should receive reminders and clear support if a submission is incomplete.
